Are you concerned about medication side-effects?

Do you wonder if you are getting the proper medication - or if another one might work better?

Genetic Testing Can Help

A simple test can show how your body is likely to process many common medications. Your doctor can act on the results to prescribe medications with less risk of side effects, including bad reactions. Genetic testing also helps your doctor find the most effective medication and dose for you.

"What is Genetic Testing?

Your genetic makeup is unique and different from everyone else’s. Single Nucelotide Variations in your genes, called SNP’s, are responsible for everything from hair and eye color to how your body breaks down different medications. Gene variations are normal. Genetic testing is the only way to find your unique gene variations and how they might affect your treatment.

"What do the Genetic Panels Look For?

These specialized panels can show how your body breaks down medications for the following conditions and more:

  • Heart conditions, including after a heart attack
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Anticoagulant treatments
  • High Cholesterol
  • Anxiety, depression and other mental health conditions
  • Cancer, including breast cancer
  • Chronic Pain
  • Acid Refulx
  • Migraine headaches
How is the Test Done?

Your doctor takes a swab of the inside of your cheek for a sample of cells and sends them to our lab for analysis. The results are generated and returned to your doctor and are available to you upon request.

How Can I Get a Test?

Only a licensed health care provider can order a test. Please inform your doctor if you wish to have this test.
